This site pulls together the chambers of commerce, Main Street programs, referral groups, civic clubs and festival organizers across Carroll, Haralson, Heard, Douglas, Paulding, Polk and Coweta counties, plus Cleburne, Randolph, Chambers and Calhoun counties in Alabama. Carroll County sits in the middle and everything radiates out by drive time.
Every Monday morning the source calendars are re-checked: new events are added with a short summary of what each one is and who it's for, changed dates are updated, and past events drop off. Once a month the organizers who only post on Facebook get a manual look. Every event page shows when it was last checked.

West GA Events is a community project from CraigAds, a Carrollton digital marketing agency. The idea came from Lisa Edison, a Realtor with Keller Williams Atlanta Partners in Newnan, who asked why there wasn't one place to see all of this.
